Titanium

Titanium is a as strong as steel, but less dense, so to use it in a knife blade, it requires alloys, just like steel. As a handle, it offers a lighter weight option to G10 .

It’s not magnetic, doesn’t conduct electricity well, and withstands extreme temperatures better than steel. It’s tough, has excellent corrosion resistance, but can be difficult to put an edge on for a blade.

All our Titanium is the 6AL4V grade favoured by knifemakers. We have six thicknesses including  .050,  .063, .071, .080,  .125 and .160.  Used mainly for liner lock knives and other folders.

We sell 12"x12" sheets and other sizes upon request. Just ask us!
