Terms and Conditions


Well, here is the plain English version. We want your continued business and will bend over backwards for it. If something is wrong, please give us a chance to make it right.


Having said that;


A typo is a typo - and we won't be held to a BIG typo

Price increases happen. We'll do our best to keep the store up to date, but prices may change without notice.


All burls and most figured wood and handle materials have flaws. You can return it at your expense for a refund of the purchase price if it is in the same condition that we shipped it. We try hard to show you what you are getting through pictures and descriptions.  If we sent something DOA or other than ordered, we will replace it or refund it on return of the defective or incorrect item - shipped back at our expense on your receipt of the RMA. In short, returns are only accepted on unaltered product.  If it was defective or significantly not as described, we'll cover the return shipping cost and refund the purchase price.  If you (or your customer) simply had a change of mind or ordered the wrong item, return may be possible at your expense and a restocking fee of 20% may apply.


Knife Making and the materials used all have hazards as does the equipment we sell. You are expected to already know these hazards and reseach those you don't.

Get competent instruction

Do not use brad point drill bits for cleaning your ears

Do not use a buffer at all

Cocobolo dust looks like paprika. It isn't!  (frequent allergic response)

Blades are made to cut meat. You are made of meat.

If your lawyer is on speed dial, please go somewhere else. We don't want your business.

 Sales Restrictions

If you make a purchase with a delayed payment choice like EMT or Phone ordering, It is expected that you will complete payment within 2 business days.  While we may make exceptions, our normal practice after that time would be to cancel the order and return the items to stock

Our staff deserve respect.  You deserve respect as well.  The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms does not (yet) offer protection against discrimination against Jerks.  Be nice.
