Canadian KnifeMaker Supply has been operating since 2000 and expanded in earnest when House of Tools decided to abandon Knife makers Across the country.  You'll find us primarily now at KnifeMaker.ca.  We are here to serve the needs of Canadians.  We'd love to serve the US market as well, but our insurer has forbidden it - as did all 11 insuarnce companies we canvassed.  We sincerely apologize for this but we can no longer assume the entire risk of catastrophic loss.

 

We can't compete with big US suppliers for selection or for volume pricing, but we believe we can compete with the best for level of service. 

 

You should know, we are not a precision shop.  The steel we sell is generally raw from the mill.  It normally has some sort of mill surface finish that you will need to remove, and it will not be dead straight.  This is the same with most steel suppliers, but surprises some new makers.  Most things we sell will be somewhat oversize, but if you order something 3 x 5" it is (rarely) possible it may be 3 x 4 7/8.  let us know if you need 'at least' a certain size.

 

Dad's philosophy is still our philosophy.  "It's tough enough to get a customer.  It's darn near impossible to get one back once you've lost them."
