Discontinuing stock. While we have some remaining stock, we will no longer be stocking Damasteel. While generally popular, it had a couple of problems. First problem is that the pattern often disappears inside the billet. The fancy ladder pattern that you bought just becomes parallel horizontal lines when ground down to an edge. The second problem relates to the new owners of Damasteel. Significant price increases were introduced overvaluing the steel to the point we could not, in good concience, sell it. As with most of our steels, this is priced per linerar inch, so you don't have to buy a whoile bar to make a 7" knife.

 

We are now selling Chad Nichols Stainless Damascus which we expect you will be very happy with.
